The name Gopakumar given by parents is documented in the school certificate, the name Akhilananda swamy and Kalki are also documented in the Kerala Gazette (6th July 1999 and 11th Jan 2000 respectively). Later, these three names were historically proved in ancient Nadi Palm Leaves read in 2004 with the clarification of present name as Kalki. The two previous names of Kalki were real and not pet names, when used. Usually, people have pet names, but these are not official. Nadi Palm Leaves are found in bundles. In a bundle, there are details of about hundreds of people.
